109 South Elliott Place The brownstone townhouse is located near the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Designed in the late 19th century, this four-story brownstone building required restoration and replacement of missing architectural features. The scope of work for the project included brownstone restoration including incised detailing, wood cornice restoration and bracket replacement, wood door restoration, and ironwork restoration and replication. The project was funded in part through the New York Landmark’s Conservancy’s Home Owner Loan Fund Program. The house is a contributing component to the Brooklyn Academy of Music Historic District.
